Hello Tucson Unified parents! This is Principal Thomas from Robins K-8 inviting you to attend a forum to learn more about the district's proposed new Code of Conduct. The meeting nearest you will be held on Thursday, March 2nd at Cholla High School at 6pm. The purpose of the session is to ensure you are informed about the proposed new guidelines and have an opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts. You can review a draft of the document and provide online feedback at www.tusd1.org. Thank you.
Parents, please read this message from Pima Traffic Engineering staff: "On August 25, 2016 during morning drop off time, as part of the field review, vehicles were observed parked in the right-of-way along Sweetwater Drive in front of the school. These parked vehicles created a sight distance obstruction for vehicles exiting the school which is an immediate safety concern. As a result, areas within Pima County right-of-way in front of the school will be designated No Parking and associated signing will be installed. We have generated the attached diagram to reflect the No Parking areas. We recommend this diagram be distributed to the parents/guardians and staff of the school. These areas will be enforceable by the Pima County Sheriff's Department."Please consider this volunteering opportunity!
