Maxwell Middle School is located at 2802 W. Anklam Road in Tucson, Arizona. It is part of the Tucson Unified School District.   There are three bands at Maxwell: the Mountain Lion Advanced Band (7th & 8th Grade), the Mountain Lion Intermediate Band (6th Graders with experience) and the Mountain Lion Beginning Band (6th Graders new to playing). There are two orchestras at Maxwell: the Mountain Lion Advanced Orchestra (7th & 8th Grades) and the Mountain Lion Beginning Orchestra (6th Grade). All incoming students should contact the Mountain Lion Instrumental Music Director prior to enrolling, especially if they have any significant prior instrumental experience.
