Hi!  My name is Mr. Dye, and this is my eleventh year teaching; I will be starting my ninth year here at Fruchthendler Elementary  and am so lucky to be a part of this wonderful community! I am 33 years old and have a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters in Teaching from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.  

I have loved teaching fifth grade for the last four years and am very excited to be teaching fifth grade again!  We are going to have a fantastic last year here at Fruchthendler. 

I have been married for a little over nine years now and am very happy.  My wife is a lawyer for the county and is loving her job.  I have two Miniature Schnauzers named Belle and Pete, and they are wonderful members of our family.  My son, Zachary, turned three in early July; he is completely adorable and a lot of fun to be around.  My daughter Caitlin will be 1 in September; she is extremely sweet and beautiful!

I strive to get kids to think for themselves and question what they don't understand.  I want kids to understand that Success is not handed to anyone; it is earned one small step at a time.  All my fifth graders will be successful and will feel proud of what they have accomplished here at Fruchthendler Elementary School!
