Code of Conduct Forums

Public invited to forums to review draft Code of Conduct

The forums are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

  • Monday, February 20 at 6 p.m. at the Sahuaro High School auditorium
  • Thursday, March 2 at 6 p.m. at the Cholla High Magnet School auditorium
  • Saturday, March 11 at 9 a.m. in the Catalina High School auditorium           
  • Wednesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. at the Rincon/University High School cafeteria
  • Thursday, March 16 at 6 p.m. at the Pueblo Magnet High School auditorium
  • Thursday, March 30 at 6 p.m. at the Palo Verde High School cafeteria

The Cholla High session will be streamed live for those who cannot attend a forum.

Spanish translation services will be provided. If you have questions about the forums, please call. 225-6186.

Purpose
In an effort to highlight and show the district's support for its employees, Tucson Unified will honor the "best of the best" by recognizing them at the Celebration of the Stars on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.

Nominations

Each campus and department is asked to nominate, if they so choose, an employee in each category. The district will then select a winner per category.

We are accepting nominations for the following categories:

Inclusive Preschool Program
The Inclusive Preschool programs give support to parents, who are the first and most important teachers of children. In these programs, the home and school partner to become an important educational team.
Our philosophy supports the belief that parents and teachers working together maximize each child's potential by building on the knowledge and skills that have been acquired from culture, language, and past experiences.
The program includes:
  • engaging learning experiences and projects.
  • parent workshops and new friends.
  • field trips.
  • family style meals.
  • dental, vision, and hearing screening.
  • exciting indoor and outdoor play activities.

7:40 a.m. to 1:55 p.m.
Wednesdays 7:40 a.m. to 12:55 p.m.
